Update: On Thursday afternoon Troopers announced Madison Weeks, 15, was found safe in Auburn.

Cayuga, N.Y. — Troopers are asking for help finding a 15-year-old girl from Cayuga who went missing on Tuesday.

Madison Weeks was last seen around 4 p.m. leaving her home at 6228 Lake St. to play basketball, according to a news release from the State Police. Cayuga is a village of about 550 people on the northeast end of Cayuga Lake in Cayuga County.

She has blonde hair, is thin, and is 5′ 01″ tall, troopers said. She was last seen wearing a white zip-up hoodie with a pink crop top, jeans and tie-dye crocs, troopers said.

Troopers ask anyone with information about Madison’s disappearance to call 911 or the Auburn headquarters at 315-255-2766.
