Outdoors, this is a time of cold and rain. Indoors, it's the time when blankets come into their own. And don't our pets know it!

When I say "blankets" I mean that vast category of fleecy, felted, puffy, plush, knitted, crocheted or otherwise fashioned items that warm us during these winter months. For my purposes, the definition extends to such hybrid products as Oodies, Snuggies, Slankets, Blankoats, Blardigans, Croshawls, Knitsies, Flumpers, Plittens and Eiderdiapers. (Admittedly, not all of these have been invented yet but it's only a matter of time.)

Anyway, to this week's collection of pet photos. It's all about the indispensable role in any pet's life of the blanket – preferably blankets plural. Scroll, and feel your core temperature rise!
