Two teenagers who have been missing for more than a week could be in Leicestershire, police have revealed. The focus of an ongoing search for George Brandon, 16, and 15-year-old Dylan Young, has moved to the county.

The boys were last seen in their home city of Nottingham on Sunday, September 4. Leicestershire Police said that colleagues in the neighbouring force have asked for help in finding the pair.

A public appeal has now been issued in response. Anyone who spots either of the friends (pictured), or knows of their whereabouts, is urged to get in touch.

A police spokesperson said: "Following a number of inquiries by Nottinghamshire Police, it is now believed the boys are together in Leicestershire. Officers are asking for the public’s help to find the teenagers and for anyone who has seen them or knows of their whereabouts to come forward."

Dylan is 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and has short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a zip-up top which is "black fading into grey" in colour, black Nike jogging bottoms and black Nike Jordan high-top trainers.

George is described as being 6ft 3ins, is also of slim build and has short light brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a grey hoody and was carrying a shoulder bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police 101 number. Alternatively, officers can be contacted using the force website.

Update: Leicestershire Police confirmed on September 13 Dylan Young and George Brandon have been found safe and well.
