Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in identifying a pair of suspects after a convenience store in Brocklehurst was robbed yesterday evening.
Mounties say they were called to the 1700-block of Tranquille Road around 6:30 yesterday evening. Police did not identify the business, but the only convenience store in the area if the 7-11 at Tranquille and Desmond.
“The two men captured in this image allegedly entered the store, picked up some items, then left without paying,” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said. “When the employee confronted them just outside of the store, one of the suspects produced a knife and pointed it at them, then left in the direction of Nicolani Drive.”
“Despite significant patrols in the area, police did not locate the two men and are asking for the public’s help to identify them.”
The first suspect is a white man with a muscular build. He was wearing a blank tank top, khaki knee-length shorts, beige work boots, a beige baseball hat, and black backpack.
The second suspect is “possibly” a white man with a short beard. He was wearing a black baseball hat with sunglasses tucked onto the brim, a blue zip-up hoodie, a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and running shoes at the time.
If you can identify the suspects, or have information about this robbery, you’re asked to contact Kamloops RCMP and reference file 2022-33784.
