New York, NY – The New York City subway system is a marvel in its own right, and people can’t go a day without seeing something out of the ordinary on the train. Commuters taking the subway on Tuesday (April 19) did not expect to appear in a music video, but that happened on the 4 train when Rowdy Rebel tapped several NYC rappers to join him for a music video shoot.
In footage shared on social media, Rowdy Rebel took over the 161 Street-Yankee Stadium Station in The Bronx for an upcoming single. The clips show him roaming the street right outside of Yankee Stadium alongside A Boogie wit Da Hoodie, Don Q and Fetty Luciano, before taking the action into the train station where they met up with Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Fabolous and newcomer B-Lovee.
The entire group then boarded the 4 train to continue filming the music video.

It was a full-circle moment for the New York rappers, especially when the conductor held the train for them to shoot their video — something that rarely happens in the Big Apple, as A Boogie pointed out in his video.
“They said they going to hold the train for us,” he said with a smile on his face. “That’s tough. They never do that. They ain’t never do that on the way to school.”

According to Rowdy Rebel’s Instagram post, the video should be arriving fairly soon, a sign that new music is on the way from the “Computers” rapper.
“Welcome to New York.. Last night it wasn’t the 4 train it was the legendary money train,” Rowdy wrote in his caption. “S/O my bros @myfabolouslife @jadakiss @aboogievsartist @donqhbtl @blovee.1 @fatjoe for coming through and making this one epic .. STAY TUNED. S/O my video team @g_trainproductions for capturing these moments.”

Earlier this month, Rowdy Rebel spoke about another NYC rapper who doesn’t get as much love as those featured in his music video shoot. During a visit to DJ Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast, he explained how he knew 6ix9ine would end up being a rat.
“That pussy had a great run, son,” he said with a smile. “Once I seen it, I knew that’s how it was gonna play out. I’m a gangsta. When he got wrapped up, I knew he was [done]. I’ve seen the toughest n-ggas fall under pressure in that room. [6ix9ine] wasn’t even half as tough. He was never outside, there’s no morals or principles.”
