Auburn QB T.J. Finley has agreed to a partnership with Amazon, and he is believed to be the "first college football player to secure an NIL deal with the corporation,” according to Tom Green of the BIRMINGHAM NEWS. His deal with Amazon allows him to “sell his custom merchandise -- including clothing, tote bags, phone cases and pop sockets” -- on Amazon Fashion’s platform. He advertised some of the merchandise in “an Instagram post announcing the deal, sporting a custom hooded sweatshirt with the phrase ‘Nobody Cares, Work Harder’ across the chest.” Another piece of clothing being sold is a shirt that says "Lineman: Because quarterbacks need heroes too.” All of Finley’s custom merchandise “will be available for shipment through Amazon Prime” (AL.com, 8/2).
